Biographical summary
Anthony L. Mikula, M.D., is a fellowship trained spine surgeon with particular expertise in spinal deformity and spine tumor surgery. During his neurosurgery residency he completed dedicated fellowships in complex spine surgery, spinal deformity, and spinal oncology. He then completed an additional post-residency fellowship in spinal deformity and spine tumor surgery. His goal is to work with each patient to develop a treatment strategy that is right for them and that utilizes the teamwork and strong multidisciplinary nature of the Mayo Clinic. He is involved in multicenter research groups across the world in both spinal deformity and spinal oncology.
