Gal Tsaban, M.D., M.P.H, Ph.D., is a cardiologist with an expertise in echocardiography and heart valve disease.

Dr. Tsaban attended medical school at Ben-Gurion University in Israel. He obtained training in internal medicine and subspecialty training in cardiovascular diseases at Soroka University Medical Center in Beersheva, Israel and advanced echocardiography at Mayo Clinic Rochester.

Dr. Tsaban's clinical practice focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of patients with valvular heart disease, pericardial disease, and cardiometabolic disease. His research interests include cardiovascular outcomes research, epidemiology and outcomes of valvular heart disease, implantation of novel screening methods for early diagnosis of structural heart disease, atrial fibrillation risk factors and outcomes, diastolic function outcomes, and advancing strategies for cardiometabolic risk prevention.
